A New York City robbery suspect was cleared of all charges because the defense showed that the suspect made a Facebook update from his father’s house, which was 13 miles away from the crime scene. The Facebook update (he wrote: “WHERE MY IHOP?”) took place one minute before the robbery.

The suspect had been held for 12 days at Rikers Island prior to his exoneration.
